Preface

I was born in this city called madras. located at latitude 13° 4' N and longitude 80° 15' E, the metropolitan city of madras is situated in the southern state of "Tamil Nadu", in India.

This blog is a miscellany of my discoveries (from various sources) about this city's heritage past. I will account for how she came into existence and what journeys she took into becoming her present self. She has seen many changes, including her name itself (now called "Chennai").
